Praia Jalé lies in the south of São Tomé island, opposite Porto Alegre, between Ilhéu Jalé and Praia da Piscina: an area of quiet beaches, forest down to the sea and fishing communities.

The NGO Marapa, a Network member, works at Praia Jalé to protect sea turtles and support sustainable artisanal fishing. Jalé Ecolodge also hosts the point of sale and tourist information of the Cantagalo and Caué District Network.
